Appoints Cheney to CFO Post
Chicago, IL. April 2, 2007 -– Today PRIMIS Marketing Group, Inc., a national provider of integrated marketing solutions, announced that Scott Cheney has joined the organization as Chief Financial Officer.

Scott Cheney is a senior finance executive with 20 years of experience in planning, accounting, control, reporting,
analysis, fundraising, risk management, tax and M&A. He has held key positions across a range of technology,
marketing information and software industries. Career highlights have included the successful implementation of
business development initiatives for Fortune 100 companies such as McDonald’s, Safeway and American Express.
From supporting expansion strategies at ADVO, the nation’s largest direct marketing company, to leading new product introductions as CFO of DVDPlay, Inc., Cheney brings deep experience in all aspects of financial leadership. In his new role, he will focus on strengthening the existing financial infrastructure to support the rapid growth of the PRIMIS Marketing Group.
Cheney follows Bob Tatum, who has served as the company’s interim CFO since September, 2006. A former CFO and experienced consultant, Tatum leveraged over 40 years of financial expertise to provide critical transitional leadership and support a successful executive search.
